On 18th September 2024, LNER Class A4 No. 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' steams through Flint with Day 4 of the Steam Dreams Welsh Dragon Charter from Holyhead to Cardiff Central. 60007 was detached at Crewe and the remainder of the journey (via the Central Wales Line)was completed using diesel haulage.
