The unmistakable station buildings of Banbury which were designed by Howard Cavanagh FRIBA (1910-1960) are seen in this view as 'DB' branded Class 66/0 No. 66105 powers through the station atop the 11.31 Halewood Jaguar-Southampton Eastern Docks car train. It May well be high summer but the miserable lighting conditions of the late afternoon require the station lighting to be illuminated on 11th June 2019.
