On 4th February 2018, at West Shed, Ripley, Ex-BR Class 4 Tank No. 80080 is approaching the end of a rebuild with the tender from LMS Pacific No. 46233 â??Duchess of Sutherlandâ?? awaiting a further coat of varnish as the loco is being repainted in Crimson Lake livery. The lining for both engine and tender is being carried out with 24ct gold leaf as was the practice when using Crimson Lake.
