Visiting SR Battle of Britain Class Pacific Pacific No. 34053 'Sir Keith Park', rounds the steep curve out of Keighley Station and begins its arduous climb up the arduous and challenging 1 in 60 Keighley Bank gradient, while working the 09:50 service to Oxenhope on a very dull and showery 7th October 2016, the first day of the KWVR Autumn Steam Spectacular. Having stopped twice while making this, its first-ever climb up the Bank, and taken over an hour to complete its scheduled 32 minute trip, its delay was the root cause for the day's remaining services to run some 45 minutes late and necessitated it being piloted throughout the remainder of the Gala.
