Extensive engineering works are currently being undertaken between Bristol and Bath in connection with the ongoing GWML electrification programme requiring a complete nine day closure of the line. Here at Oldfield Park a busy scene is recorded with Colas Class 70 No. 70808 at the helm of an engineers' train comprising point and crossing carrier wagons. In the distance a Kirow crane No. DKR 81601 'Nigel Chester' is seen lifting track panels into place. In the far distance Colas Class 70 No. 70807 is just is view on 5th April 2016.
