"ScotRail Class 156 Metro-Cammell 'Super Sprinter' No. 156433 departs its start point at Newcastle heading towards the Castle Keep and over the High Level Bridge, working the 13:23 service to Glasgow Central on 9th April 2015. The stone Castle Keep sits upon the site of the original timber castle from which the city takes its name, was built between 1172 and 1177 by Henry II and measures 62 feet by 56 feet by 81 feet tall. Now a Grade I listed building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument, it is one of the UKâ??s finest medieval stone castle dungeonâ??s still open to the public and is unique in having the main East Coast Main Line running through the centre of its grounds."
