'Western' Class diesel hydraulic No. D1017 'Western Warrior' at Exeter MPD on 23rd August 1970. The loco was new from Swindon Works in March 1963 but had a very short service life of just 10 years and 4 months, before withdrawal in August 1973. It was cut up at Swindon Works during March 1975.
