In a view no longer available, pictured from the roof of Old Oak Common Panel Box on 19th April 1990, Brush Class 47/4 diesel electric No. 47587 heads empty coaching stock from Paddington into the carriage sidings. New as No. D1963 from Crewe Works in September 1965, it became Class 47/0 No. 47263 under TOPS in February 1974. It was later reclassified Class 47/7 No. 47736. Withdrawal came in September 2003 and the loco was cut up by R Hull of Rotherham during November 2007. As 47587 it carried the name 'Ruskin College Oxford' from October 1990 and as 47736 it was named 'Cambridge Traction & Rolling Stock Depot'.
