Class 390 Virgin Pendolino No. 390016 'Virgin Champion' gets away from Plaform 3 at Birmingham New Street on 2nd November 2014 with 1S55, the 11.20 service to Glasgow Central. In Platform 4B is the late running 2Y09, 11.14 service to London Euston and in Platform 4C is 1F40, the 11.42 service to Liverpool Lime Street, both formed of Class 350 EMU's.
