In work-stained condition but still in original livery, Type 2 diesel electric No. D5388 at March MPD on 6th April 1969.
New from the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company in May 1962 and initially allocated to Cricklewood (14A), it became Class 27/1 No. 27105 under TOPS in 1973 and finally Class 27/0 No. 27049 in August 1983. The loco was withdrawn from service in April 1987 and was cut up by Vic Berry of Leicester during February 1988.
