During the SVR Diesel Gala,'Warship' Class diesel hydraulic No. D821 'Greyhound' rests in Kidderminster yard on 8th May 1994. The loco was new from Swindon Works in May 1960 and was withdrawn from service at Laira during December 1972. It was secured for preservation by the Diesel Traction Group and remained stored at Laira TMD until 24th May 1973, when it ran under its own power to Didcot Railway Centre.
