A fine array of semaphore signals at Swansea, where 0-6-0 diesel shunter No. 4128 waits with empty coaching stock on 11th July 1970. New from Horwich Works in April 1962, the loco became Class 08 No. 08898 under TOPS in 1974. It was withdrawn from Landore in December 1988 and survived for almost another 10 years before being cut up by CF Booth at Doncaster during March 1998. Swansea High Street station was opened on 19th June 1850 and was renamed on 6th May 1968, when 'High Street' was from its title.
