The Snowdon Mountain Railway terminus at Llanberis on the morning of 20th August 1971 and 0-6-2T No. 4 'Snowdon' is being prepared to depart with a service to Summit Station. The loco was built by the Swiss Locomotive and Machine Works at Winterthur in 1896 as Works No. 988.
