Class 31 diesel electric No. 31107 gets away from a crew change at Gloucester on 9th May 1985 with a Severn Tunnel Junction - Bescot working. It was new to March (31B) from Brush in April 1959. The loco, which carried the name 'John H Carless VC' from August 1992 to July 1995, was withdrawn in October 2008 and cut up by Ron Hull of Rotherham during May 2009.
