English Electric Type 3 No. D6935 has the company of sisters D6913 and D6921 at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 19th April 1969. New from Vulcan Foundry in April 1964 and first allocated to Landore (87E), it became Class 37 No. 37235 under TOPS in 1973. It was withdrawn in March 2008 after a service life of just under 44 years and cut up, at Carnforth, by the Harry Needle Railroad Company during April of that year. The loco carried the name 'The Coal Merchants' Association of Scotland' from November 1987 to March 1991.
