'Warship' Class diesel hydraulic No. 861 'Vigilant' at Exeter St Davids on 22nd May 1971. The loco was new from the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow, in February 1962 and first allocated to Laira (83D). After a service life of just 9 years and 7 months, it was withdrawn in October 1971 and cut up at Swindon Works during July 1972.
