English Electric Type 3 No. D6720 rests in Cambridge Yard on 7th April 1969 among an interesting collection of old stock. New from Vulcan Foundry in June 1961 and initially allocated to Stratford (30A), it became Class 37 No. 37020 under TOPS in February 1974. In December 1986 the loco became Class 37/7 No. 37702 and carried the name 'Taff Merthyr'. Renumbered to L30 in July 2001 and exported to work in Spain, it was scrapped at Vilafrance del Penedes in July 2009.
