Class 25 No. D7628 'Sybilla', banked by Ian Riley's Guest Engine LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 'Black 5' No. 44871, drift down the 1 in 49 Esk Valley gradient while hauling the late running 1T10 09.15 service from Pickering to Grosmont on Sunday on 5th May the 3rd day of the NYMR 40th Anniversary Festival & Spring Steam Gala. The late running was a result of the knock-on effect of the 30 minute delay in the scheduled 09.45 departure of LNER Pacific Class A4 Pacific Pacific No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley from Grosmont, which affected all subsequent services during the day.
