During a heavy downpour at Reading on 18th April 2013, and taken from the new vantage point of the transfer deck, FGW Class 165 DMU No. 165112 arrives at the newly-renumbered Platform 9 with 1W33, the 13:21 London Paddington - Morton-in-Marsh service. In the adjacent Platform 10 is Class 180 unit No. 180108 on 1P47, the 12:06 Worcester Foregate Street - London Paddington, while waiting in Platform 6 is 2O41, the 14:04 service to Redhill.
