Stanier Class 5MT 4-6-0 No's. 45447 and 45110 at Skipton on 17th March 1968, about to haul the Skipton - Accrington leg of 1L31, a return tour special from Stockport Edgeley to Carnforth. Also used to haul the special that day were 4472 'Flying Scotsman' and 70013 'Oliver Cromwell', in addition to 45203 as banker from Manchester Victoria to Miles Platting. 45447 was built by Armstrong Whitworth, 45110 by Vulcan Foundry, and both survived until the end of BR steam in August 1968.
