'Western' Class diesel hydraulic No. D1062 'Western Courier' approaching Kidderminster Town on 8th May 1994 with a service from Bridgnorth. New from Crewe Works in May 1963 and first allocated to Old Oak Common (81A), it was withdrawn from Laira in August 1974. It was puchased for preservation by the Western Locomotive Association and moved to the Severn Valley Railway in September 1978.
