English Electric Class 50 No. 50026 'Indomitable' awaits it's next duty at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 12th January 1985. New from Vulcan Foundry as No. D426 in June 1968 and first allocated to the Stoke Division (D05), it was re-numbered under TOPS in January 1973 and was named at Laira on 29th March 1978. The loco was withdrawn from service in December 1990 but survives in preservation.
