In very poor external condition, Stanier Class 5MT 4-6-0 comes slowly onto Newton Heath MPD on 5th May 1968. New as LMS No. 4777 from Crewe Works in June 1947 and first allocated to Kentish Town (14B), the loco was withdrawn the month after this photograph was taken and cut-up by Cohens of Kettering during January 1969.
