'Western' Class diesel hydraulic No. D1035 'Western Yeoman' runs into Newton Abbot on 19th September 1970 with a Penzance - Manchester Piccadilly service. New from Crewe Works in July 1962 and first allocated to Laira (83D), the loco was withdrawn in January 1975 and cut-up at Swindon Works during September 1976.
