With acknowledgement from the Horton Road second man, Brush Class 47 No. 47612 'Titan' accelerates out of Gloucester on 9th July 1985 with the morning parcels service to Swindon. This scene is now much changed, with a large road overbridge crossing this spot. The loco was new as No. D1665 from Crewe Works in March 1965 and allocated to Landore (87E). It received it's nameplates at Cardiff Canton MPD in March 1966 and remained named until October 1989. The loco became No. 47080 under TOPS, was withdrawn as No. 47779 in June 2005 and cut-up at Kingsbury during March 2006.
