English Electric Class 73/1 electro-diesel No. 73102 'Airtour Suisse' runs through East Croydon on 17th June 1985 with a London Victoria - Gatwick Airport 'Gatwick Express' service. New from Vulcan Foundry as No. E6008 in October 1965 and first allocated to Eastleigh (70D), it was re-numbered under TOPS in 1973 and later became No. 73212. It carried the name 'Airtour Suisse' from 30/4/85 to 31/5/99. The loco is still in service with GBRf.
