'Peak' Class diesel electric No. D61 'Royal Army Ordnance Corps' gets away from Dawlish on 26th May 1971 with 1V64, the 08:20 Birmingham New Street - Paignton service. New from Crewe Works in March 1962 and first allocated to Derby (17A), the loco received it's name on 6th November 1965. It became Class 45 No. 45112 under TOPS, was withdrawn in May 1987 and survives in preservation.
