Bournemouth MPD on 3rd June 1967 with 'West Country' Pacific No. 34023 'Blackmore Vale' receiving attention. Also on shed are BR Standard Class 4 No. 76009 and newly restored 'A4' Pacific No. 4468 'Sir Nigel Gresley'. Both Pacifics were used that day on an A4 Locomotive Society railtour from London Waterloo. Both No. 76009 and nameless No. 34023 were withdrawn the following month.
