North British built 'Warship' diesel hydrualic No. 858 'Valorous' waits departure from Exeter St Davids on 12th September 1970 with a Penzance - Manchester Piccadilly train. New from Glasgow in December 1961, it was withdrawn from Newton Abbot in October 1971.
