On Sunday 9th September 2012, OBB Railjet-liveried Class 1116 No. 1116217 Spirit of Switzerland departs Salzburg with a Railjet service to Munich. Railjet sets usually comprise a loco at one end with a DVT at the other, and are usually coupled in pairs which means one loco of the two sets is coupled next to a DVT in the centre of a formation. On this occasion unusually, only one set is is being used.
