On Thursday 29 March 2012, English Electric Class 40 No. D335 resplendent in British Railways green, along with Class 55, Deltic, No 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" wait for the right of way at Ely station so that they can proceed onwards to the Mid-Norfolk Railway. Both locos were taking part at the English Electric Gala over the weekend of 30 March-01 April 2012.
