New tube stock for London Underground is being manufactured by Bombadier at Derby, it is then hauled to the Old Dalby test track which runs North from Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. After successful testing the units are delivered from Old Dalby to Amersham. Here 8X09 the Old Dalby to Amersham working is seen heading west having previously run east into the up goods loop from the Old Dalby branch and reversed. 20302 leads the consist onto the Down Main as indicated by the stencil route indicator on the ground signal in the foreground. 20301 and 305 (nearest the camera) bring up the rear. Thursday 31st August 2011.
