If, like me, you look out for railways (and, in my case, particularly semaphore signals) as you travel about on our major roads then these two signals will be familiar to many.
These two semaphore signals will be swept away as Kennett signal box will close with the passage of the last train on Friday 11th November 2011. The left hand signal is Kennett's number 18 section signal, a nice concrete post bracket signal, the tall right hand signal is Kennetts number 3 home signal. These two signals are both clearly visible from the A14 but not for much longer.
