With Wild Boar Fell prominent in the background No. 66561 is seen just as it is about to plunge from glorious afternoon sunshine into the darkness of the 106 yard long Shotlock Hill tunnel. Photographed at 1650 on Tuesday 14th June the train is 6M32 1003 Killoch - Ratcliffe on Soar loaded coal. The 'long drag' to Ais Gill summit is finally over and in the days of steam the fireman would be taking a well-earned breather.
