No. 47727 seen on 6Z57 13.16 Boston Docks to Washwood Heath loaded steel train on Monday 16th May 2011. Rectory Junction box is situated on the outskirts of Nottingham on the Nottingham to Grantham line, it was built in 1890 as the massive Colwick Yards were extended and it formed a new corner of the triangle which surrounded the area. 6Z57 has crossed the Trent, it's rear wagons will still be over over the river. The 88 lever box is a block post between Netherfield Junction and Bingham, sidings still exist which serve the oil Terminal served by one train per day from Lindsey. The line shown on the bottom right of the signal box diagram is the former line to Cotgrave Colliery which is out of use and indeed the junction has relatively recently been 'plain lined'.
