Class 156 DMU No. 156486 stands at Buxton on 20th March 2010 waiting to form the 15.27 Northern Rail service to Manchester Piccadilly. Class 150 DMU No. 150203 is stabled in the other platform. The great fan window in the old rear wall is all that now remains of the original 1863 London & North Western Railway station.
