The word from very good sources was that the 'Boston Steel' contract had been terminated but it now appears that this is not the case and the service continues to run as required once or twice a week. The usual pairing of No. 47749 & 47727 are seen cruising through Bingham, Notts, at 09.14 on Wednesday 7th July 2010 with 6Z56 the 0602 Washwood Heath to Boston Docks steel empties.
