Class 33/1 No. 33109 was joined for the weekend by 33108 visiting from Barrow Hill and the BRCW type 2s are seen here double heading the 2J89 16:35 Heywood to Rawtenstall to Heywood service on July 3rd. They are crossing the bridge which carries the ELR over the Metrolink in Bury. The steep gradients either side of the bridge are quite apparent! Canon EOS 5D, 1/250, f5.6, ISO200.
