Engineering works at Colton Junction on 2nd February 2013 led to the diversion of ECML trains between Doncaster and York. Due to the failure of 'The Esk Valley Panorama' railtour at Milford Junction, several northbound services were delayed in the Burton Salmon area, including Grand Central's 1N90 08:12 London King's Cross to Hartlepool, seen here with Class 43/4 power car No. 43467 leading and No. 43480 at the rear.
