DB Cargo Class 66/0 No. 66093 leads the 11:48 Dean Lane R.T. Sidings to Bolton leg of Pathfinder Railtours' 'The Hacienda' railtour away from the closed and partly-demolished Dean Lane waste terminal on 7th March 2020. The train is joining the remaining single track stub that once formed part of the Oldham Loop railway line to Shaw and Rochdale, now part of Manchester's Metrolink tram system. This is expected to be the last train to visit the Dean Lane branch, and it would seem likely that the Metrolink system, currently running on a single, bi-directional line alongside, will expand to take over the rest of the formation and make a twin track route.
