Mid June in Central Indiana. On a blazing hot day with temperatures in the mid 90's, No. CITX3169 a former Union Pacific SD40-2 now on hire to the Indiana Rail Road returns from a rail laying job on the outskirts of Bloomington, Indiana. The rail in question had recently been lifted from the Bedford area and is needed to enable higher line speeds on what is considered the INRD mainline.
