The old meets the new. Originally built in 1952 as a classic 'Bonneted' F7 Unit for the Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad. A body rebuild and a mere 57 years of service sees 2543 still in use today, and re-classified as a CF-7. Here on December 5th 2009 she poses at Switz City, alongside the Indiana Rail Road's latest acquisition, 1999 built SD90/43 MAC No 9006. a 4300hp monster used primarily on coal services.
