On 27th March 2010 Compass Tours operated 'The Heart of Wales Moorlander' railtour from Preston to Cardiff via the central Wales line. DB Schenker Class 66 No. 66186 operated the train throughout and is seen here approaching Stockport with the outward 1Z90 05:42 Preston to Cardiff Central.
