After a couple of 'phantom' runs reported on RTT before Christmas, the mythical 08:13 Wellingborough to Whatley Quarry stone empties puts in an actual appearance on 8th January 2016 for probably the first time after several weeks on the schedule - today hauled by GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66740 'Sarah'. It is running 3 mins late crossing Hungerford Common but manages to reach Westbury just ahead of the 11:06 Paddington - Plymouth HST. The train returned later that evening but the loading status is unknown.
