Passing the admiring crowd, FGW HST headed by Class 43 power car No. 43140 'Landore Diesel Depot Celebrating 50 Years 1963-2013' departs from Platform 2 at Gloucester on 17th May 2014 with 1L40, the 08:36 Worcester Shrub Hill - London Paddington service. Having turned on the triangle, 'West Country' Pacific Light Pacific No. 34046 'Braunton' is about to couple up to its train in Platform 4. It was hauling the Railway Touring Company's 'The Welsh Borders' special from Bristol Temple Meads to Oxford, Worcester and Hereford.
