Pictured from an ascending train waiting in the passing loop at Clogwyn on 20th August 1971, a descending 'Doubler' approach from Summit Station, the first headed by 0-4-2T No. 3 'Wyddfa'. The loco was built in 1895 by the Swiss Locomotive & Machine Works, Winterthur.
