Class 37 diesel electric No. 37284 cosses the River Thames between Goring & Streatley and Pangbourne on the evening of 24th May 1985 with an Up parcels service for London Paddington. The loco was new from English Electric as No. D6984 in May 1965 and was later re-numbered under TOPS. It became Class 37/3 No. 37381 in June 1988, was withdrawn from service in October 1993 and cut up by Raxstar at Frodingham TMD during May 2000.
