With a murky Langstone Rock in the background, Brush Type 4 diesel electric No. 1557 heads towards Dawlish on 22nd May 1971 with 1B65, a London Paddington - Penzance service. New to Sheffield Darnall MPD from Crewe Works in February 1964, it later became Class 47/4 No. 47441 under TOPS. The loco was withdrawn in December 1992 and cut up by MRJ Philips at Old Oak Common during August 1997.
