Still in original green livery, Brush Type 4 diesel electric No. 1606 stabled between duties at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 29th November 1969. New from Crewe Works in July 1964 and first allocated to Landore (87E), it became Class 47/0 No. 47029 under TOPS in 1974. The loco became Class 47/4 No. 47635 in January 1986 and carried the name 'Jimmy Milne' from April 1987 to April 1991. Named again as 'The Lass o'Ballockmyle' at Doncaster Works in July 2003, it was withdrawn from service in February 2004. The loco was preserved and went to the Swanage Railway in May 2007, where it was re-named 'Jimmy Milne' in May 2008. It is now at Peak Rail, having arrived there in September 2008.
