The Railway Touring Company ran an excursion from London Kings Cross to Scarborough via Bridlington on Saturday 14th April 2012. Unfortunately signaling problems on the East Coast Main Line severely delayed a number of services including this excursion. Running about 90 minutes late BR Standard 4-6-2 Pacific No. 70013, Oliver Cromwell brings the train off the Goole branch and approaches Gilberdyke Station en route to the Yorkshire Wolds line.
